Travel Up

Image
Travel Up is a tangle that is mostly a tangleation of Rain and Twing tangles. It starts from two parallel lines and then little triangles holding on to them as if travelling upward. Then there are shallow arcs covering those triangles on the other sides. I wanted to name this hybrid tangle so here it is for all of you to have fun. Enjoy tangling☺ The other tangles that are used are flux, florz, tagh, bales and knightsbridge. Reeti

Image
The tangle Reeti is a fun tangle inspired by tangle Auruka. The tangle name has a beautiful story to it. When I was expecting a child, me and my sisters were having a great time deciding on to the names we could give to the child. So, we came to a conclusion that if it's a girl child then we would name her Reeti. My husband's name initials and my name. The best thing is that the name has a meaning and that is cultural customs in Hindi language. I am a mother to a son and I did not get a chance to use this beautiful name. So, here I use it for my cool tangle. Other tangle that is used is beadline in grid form. The Gift

Image
Tangle pattern 'The Gift' is a tangle that is inspired by tangles like yincut and striping. It looks like a gift box also when we add a cute bow to it. I have tried some lovely variations to my tangle 'The Gift'. I hope that you would enjoy tangling this pattern.  You can read my other blogs: About  Neeti SawarthiaTibrewala             Neeti's Zentangle Journey             Tangles by Neeti             Poems by Neeti             Tangling workshop by Neeti

Arc n Arc

Image
My tangle arc n arc is inspired by the border tangles or patterns that have arcs in it. Mostly the arcs in them are either joined to each other of they are turned in the same direction. I wanted to try to variate both the properties of the arc patterns. It took me quite a lot of time to make it a pattern from a tangle so that the tangle could be deconstructed for everyone to use it. Finally, Arc n Arc was created. The other tangles that I used in the sample tiles are jetties, dyon, bunzo, msst, warble, pepper and flux.
